Selectwood stocks a huge variety of wood shakes and shingles for roof and sidewall applications. We specialize in Eastern White, Western Red and Alaskan Yellow Cedar. Shingles are available green, kiln dried, fire treated, primed, finish coated or treated with bleaching oil. Pre-colored shingles with one or two finish coats are a specialty. | Alaskan Yellow Cedar –
Fine textured, light colored, highly durable cedar. Eastern White Cedar – Traditional shingles available natural, oil bleached or stained. Fancy Butt Shingles – Limitless designs are possible using Red or White Cedar shaped shingles. Maibec Shingles – Superbly manufactured Eastern White Cedar. Maibec shingles are impossible to beat. Western Red Cedar – The preeminent species of wood used to manufacture natural, treated and pre-finished shingles and shakes. |
