Specialty Lumber
Specialty lumber is used for interior and exterior applications available in boards or special patterns.
Pre-primed or finished boards are popular options. Our wood is kept clean and dry in our heated warehouse. We boast the largest most diverse inventory of Western Red Cedar, Douglas Fir and Meranti in New England. If we do not have the lumber you need in stock, we can generally get it for you in just a few days.

Aromatic Cedar – Traditional choice for cedar closets and chests.
Douglas Fir – No one stocks more sizes and patterns than Selectwood.
Eastern Pine – Native white prime pine in D select or a clear finger joint grade.
Ipe – Complement any outdoor project with the beauty, strength and durability of Ipe lumber.
Meranti – Selectwood stocks 4" through 12" inch wide Meranti boards in 1", 5/4" and 2" thicknesses.
Poplar – Available in a variety of sizes, used mostly for fine, paint-grade interior applications.
Port Orford Cedar – Port Orford Cedar is light colored cedar and characterized by straight even grain and citrus aroma.
Primelock – An exceptional line of pre-primed, finger-jointed White Pine trim in a large variety of sizes.
Redwood – Clear grades are known for fine grain texture, workability and superior natural appearance.
Southern Yellow Pine – Mostly clear, kiln dried, mixed grain, tongue and groove for flooring.
Western Red Cedar – Considered one of the world's most highly prized woods for beauty, workability, durability and dimensional stability.
